Rebate Eligibility Questions
1. Are you an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia aged 18 years or over? *
2. Have you claimed the Australian Government’s Solar Hot Water Rebate since it was increased on 3rd Feb 2009 to $1,600 or already claimed a rebate under the insulation program? *
3. Are you the owner of the dwelling where the insulation is to be installed? *
4. Is the residence where the insulation is to be installed your principle place of residence? *
5. Is the dwelling a new home or a major extension of an existing home completed in 2003 or later? *
6. Does the property currently have ceiling insulation? *
6a. Is the insulation less than 50mm thick (5cm or 1 inch)? *
Based on the above information you may be eligible for up to $1200 ceiling insulation under the Government program. The following questions will help to identify whether there are likely to be any additional costs for installation based on the size and type of roof:

a. Flat
If this is the type of roof you have this job may require a specialised M.P.I.C. tradesman to complete this work. However you may still be eligible under the program guidelines so please give us a call to discuss the scope of the job needed to be undertaken.
b. Pitched
11. Does your ceiling cavity have ducted air-conditioning or heating? *
12. Does it have down lights? *
13. Was your dwelling built brior to 1985? *
14. What is the approximate distance between your Ceiling Joists or rafters? *
c. Mix of Pitch and Flat
The flat portion of your roof comes with complexities in completing the installation, we can install on the gabled portion of the roof, but the flat portion will incur more costs, as to the difficulty and extended time that it will take to complete a larger job.
